National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. The National Institute of Technology Hamirpur was founded in 1986 as a Regional Engineering College. The city of Hamirpur is well connected with the rest of the country by road. Hamirpur is at a distance of about 480 Kms from Delhi. Along with this college there were twenty NITs established. The College endeavor is to create an environment helpful for the pursuit of higher learning. The NIT Hamirpur is a joint and cooperative venture of the Govt. of India and Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The aim of the college is to provide quality education to student and to motivate them to endeavor for excellence.
