UPSC CDS 1 Final Result 2023 : UPSC Combined Defense Services (CDS) 1 final result has been released. Union Public Service Commission has made available the list of candidates selected in written examination and SSB interview in PDF format on its official website upsc.gov.in. Selected candidates will be admitted to the 156th course of the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
A total of 235 candidates have been selected on the basis of results conducted by UPSC and SSB interviews conducted by other organizations in April 2023.The examination was organized for recruitment to a total of 154 posts. The Commission had invited online applications for the examination from December 10, 2022 to January 10, 2023.
“The following are the lists in order of merit of the 235 (156 + 57 + 22) candidates who have qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defense Services Examination (I), 2023, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in April 2023 and SSB Interview conducted by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defense for admission to the 156th (DE) course of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; “Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course i.e. No. 215 F (P) Course,” read the official notice by UPSC.
The Commission has further informed that the candidature of all selected candidates is provisional in nature as their education qualifications and personal information are still being verified. “Verification of date of birth and educational qualification of these candidates is still under process by Army Headquarters. Therefore, the candidature of all these candidates is provisional on this score.
Candidates are requested to forward their original certificates in support of the date of birth/educational qualifications etc. claimed by them, along with their photostat attested copies, to Army Headquarters/Naval Headquarters/Air Headquarters, as per their first choice,' ' UPSC added.
The registration process started on December 2022 and ended on January 10, 2023. This recruitment drive will fill 341 posts in the organization. For more related details candidates can visit the official website of UPSC.
