The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has closed the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) exam registration process on Thursday, 8th June 2023 at ssc.nic.in. Candidates who have registered for SSC CHSL 2023, they should be advised that they should start preparing to pass this exam .
For SSC CHSL exam, there is an application fee of Rs 100. However, certain categories of candidates including Women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM). Those eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the application fee. The last date for online fee payment is June 10. Payment through challan (during working hours of the bank) can be made till June 12. The SSC CHSL application form correction window will be from June 14 to June 15, 2023 (11 PM).
SSC CHSL 2023 exam will be conducted in August 2023 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The recruitment drive will fill a total of 1,600 vacancies across various ministries and departments. It is important to note that these vacancies are subject to change, and the final vacancy positions will be notified later.
The objective of SSC CHSL exam is to recruit candidates for Group C posts including Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operator in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India as well as Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals Are included. among others. This year around 1600 posts are tentatively notified by the commission.
Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL Exam 2023-
Educational Qualification : Applicants must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The candidate must possess the essential qualification on or before the cut-off date, which is August 1, 2023.
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2023. Upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories candidates.
