Nineteen-year-old Kushagra Roy from Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, clinched the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the CA Intermediate exam 2024, results of which were unveiled on Thursday.
In his maiden attempt, Kushagra achieved an impressive score of 538 out of 600, marking a significant triumph.
“My family has been my pillar of strength throughout every challenge,” expressed the young topper. Following his mother's passing in 2015, Kushagra’s father stepped into the role of both parents for him and his elder brother. His success is deeply rooted in his family's steadfast support.
"My father has always harbored ambitions of becoming a CA himself and continues to pursue this dream," he shared. Fulfilling his father’s aspiration has been Kushagra’s primary motivation.
“After performing well in my 10th board examinations, it became evident that commerce was the right path for me. Since then, I have been diligently preparing for the CA exams, driven by my family's aspirations and unwavering encouragement," he explained.
While Kushagra is pursuing his father’s dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant, his brother is now pursuing their late mother’s dream of becoming a doctor.
