The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), 2023 by the end of September at ctet.nic.in. As per the latest media reports, CTET Result 2023 is expected to be declared on September 24, however, candidates should note that there is no official confirmation on the same.
The exam was conducted on August 20 in which more than 29 lakh candidates were registered. The attendance in the examination was around 80 percent. Of them, 15,01,719 candidates were registered for Paper 1 (for classes 1 to 5) and 14,02,184 candidates were registered for Paper 2 (for classes 6 to 8). The provisional answer key was released on September 16, 2023 and the objection window was closed on September 18, 2023.
The records of Central Teacher Eligibility Test are preserved only for two months from the date of declaration of result as per CBSE examination weeding out rules. After this it will be disposed of as per the weeding-out rules of the Board.
For a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question, CBSE had allowed applicants to submit objections to the CTET 2023 provisional answer key till 11.59 pm on September 18. The final solution key and result will be made public by CBSE after its release. Considered all the objections raised regarding the answer key. Candidates should note that the CTET 2023 scorecard will remain valid lifetime.Many CBSE schools use CTET to select individuals who will be appointed as teachers.

Candidates can easily check or download CTET Result PDF 2023 by following below steps-
Step 1 : Visit to the CBSE CTET official website at ctet.nic.in
Step 2 : On the homepage, look for the CTET 2023 result link and click on it
Step 3 : Enter your credentials for login.
Step 4 : The CTET 2023 results will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5 : Download and print a copy of the CTET 2023 result page for future records.
To pass CTET 2023, general category candidates must score at least 60 percent or 90 marks out of 150. The minimum passing mark for the exam is 55 percent. SC, ST and OBC category candidates will get 5 percent relaxation. Candidates who successfully qualify CTET Paper 1 and 2 are eligible to apply for teaching posts in Class 1 - 5 and Class 6 - 8 respectively.
The 17th CTET was conducted at 3,121 examination centers across 136 Indian cities. This year, more than 29 lakh applications were submitted to CBSE for CTET. About 80 percent of the applicants who enrolled to take the exam took the exam.
