CLAT 2023: This will be the question paper format for UG-PG courses, check 
CLAT 2023: Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 application process is underway and will continue till November 13, 2022. Interested candidates can register for CLAT Exam 2023 on the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 
CLAT 2023: Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 application process is underway and will continue till November 13, 2022. Interested candidates can register for CLAT exam 2023 on the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct the CLAT 2023 exam on December 18. The entrance test will be in pen-paper mode and the duration of the exam will be two hours (120 minutes). 
The consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT exam for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) law courses offered by 22 NLUs across the country. The consortium of NLU has already released two sample paper sets on its website for the practice of the candidates and informed them about the CLAT syllabus and exam pattern. The third sample paper set will be released by the consortium in November 2022. 
UG CLAT 2023 question paper will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from English Language, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. Candidates will be given one mark (+1) for each correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The Consortium of NLU has also released the weightage of expected questions from each subject in the UG question paper. 
- 28-32 questions from English language will be asked. 
- 35-39 questions will be asked from current affairs including general knowledge. 
- Legal Reasoning 35-39 questions will be asked. 
- Logical Reasoning 28-32 questions will be asked. 
- Questions from 13-17 of Quantitative Techniques will be asked. 

The CLAT PG question paper will consist of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) which will have to be answered by the candidates within 2 hours (120 minutes). One mark (+1) will be awarded to the candidates for each correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. 
The syllabus for PG CLAT exam includes constitutional law, other areas of law such as jurisprudence, administrative law, law of contract, torts, family law, criminal law, property law, company law, public international law, tax law, environmental law, labor and industrial Questions of law will be included.
