Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Government of Punjab, has published admission guidelines for Post Graduate Degree/Diploma courses, including MD, MS, PG Diploma, and six-month training in Ultrasonography in the Health Sciences Educational Institutions (Medical/Dental)/Hospitals in the State of Punjab for Session 2023 onwards. Aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria can access the detailed NEET PG 2023 notification on the official website of BFUHS at bfuhs.ac.in. Admission to all Government and Private Institutions, including Private/Deemed Universities and Minority institutions, will be determined by the NEET PG 2023 merit.

 

NEET PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

 

  • - One year compulsory rotatory internship is mandatory for eligibility for admission to postgraduate courses.
  • - Candidates must be registered with the state Medical Council/Dental council.
  • - The cutoff date for the completion of the internship will be determined by NMC/DCI.
  • - Candidates exempted from the internship requirement are not required to complete it.
  • - Candidates undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory Internship/practical training after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS/BDS or the foreign Medical/Dental Degree recognized by GOI/MCl/DCI) will be eligible for admission if they complete the internship and obtain provisional or permanent registration.
  • - Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Head of the Institution stating they will complete the internship by the date decided by NMC/DCI.

NEET PG 2023 Seat Distribution

 

BFUHS, Faridkot will display the tentative seat distribution on its official website. Candidates who have previously taken admission in MD/MS/PG courses can apply as fresh candidates based on their NEET/PG results. However, if a candidate drops out or leaves a course midway and seeks readmission, they must pay the full fee for the course (3 years for a degree and 2 years for a diploma course) and any applicable bond.
