During a recent interview, M Jagadesh Kumar, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission, stated that it is anticipated that the total number of registrations for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programs (CUET UG 2023) this year will surpass last year's figures. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently extended the registration period for CUET UG 2023 from March 12 to March 30, 2023.

According to a report by PTI, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission stated that over 1.15 million registrations have been received for CUET-UG thus far, and the deadline for registration has been extended to March 30th. The Chairman also mentioned that it is anticipated that the number of applications will exceed last year's figure of 1.4 million.

CUET TO BE CONDUCTED IN THREE SHIFTS

As per the latest updates, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG will be held in three shifts this year, as opposed to the two shifts conducted in the previous year. Additionally, to minimize errors, the examination schedule has been compressed to 10 days, compared to over a month in the past.

CUET UG 2023 REGISTRATION

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently extended the deadline for registration for CUET UG 2023. According to the new schedule, candidates are now able to register until March 30th, and the deadline for submitting the application fee is also March 30th. The NTA has also scheduled a correction window from April 1st to April 3rd, 2023. On April 30th, 2023, the NTA will announce the examination city for the CUET UG 2023.
