About MPPSC Exam

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is responsible for conducting the State Services Examination for the State which is the MPPSC exam. It released the MPPSC 2021-2022 notification on 22 December 2021 for 283 vacancies. Recently, it reopened the online portal from 23 to 27 May 2022 to apply online for the candidates who could not apply within the given date for Advertisement number 10/2022 of "State Service Examination - 2021". MPPSC Eligibility

MPPSC eligibility determines whether or not you are eligible to take the MPPSC 2022 exam. The eligibility for MPPSC 2022 can be found below.

General Criteria
  1. The applicants must be citizens of India.
  2. Male applicants with more than one (current) wife are ineligible to take the exam.
  3. Female applicants who are in a relationship with a married man will not be considered for this position.
 

Age Limit

Only one concession will be given to applicants who claim age relaxation or reservation in more than one category for the Exam. The student's minimum age ranges from 18 to 21, with a maximum age limit of 40 years as of January 1, 2022.

The MPPSC mentioned the age relaxation for different categories for the State Service exam.

MPPSC Admit Card

MPPSC 2022 Admit Card has been released by the MPPSC for the Mains Exam on 21 July 2022. The direct link to download the MPPSC Prelims Admit Card is now updated below.

  • To download the admit card link, you are required to use your Application Number and password and enter the captcha.
  • Finally, click on the login button.

MPPSC Selection

The following stages are used to select eligible candidates for the MPPSC State Services & Forest Services posts. The candidates have to qualify in each stage to get recruited for the vacancy.

MPPSC Exam Pattern

The selection process for MPPSC State service consists of three stages prelims, mains, and interviews. We have further listed down the details of the exam pattern of all the stages for your better understanding and preparation. 

MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

The preliminary MPPSC exam pattern is divided into paper 1 and paper 2. Refer to the table below for detailed information.

  • Each paper will have a total of 100 questions and each right answer will be awarded 2 marks.
  • The prelims stage consists of a total 400 marks and duration of which is 4 hours.
  • There is no negative marking for the Prelims of MPPSC State service exam, hence a candidate is suggested to answer the maximum questions possible in the exam.
  • The Question paper will be both in English and Hindi Language
  • The candidates sitting for the exam shall be provided with an OMR Sheet to mark the answers. Candidates should make sure that they mark the entire circle properly.
  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions properly given in the OMR Sheet.
  • Only the candidates who clear both the papers and achieve the cutoff marks determined by Madhya Pradesh Public service commission will be qualified for the mains exam.

MPPSC Qualification

The candidate who has completed their graduation or is in the final year of their education (and is awaiting their graduation results) is eligible to apply for the MPPSC State Services Examination. The applicant must have a valid graduation degree from a government recognised institute, according to the MPPSC Eligibility.
