WBTET Eligibility

Candidates must have the required eligibility criteria before applying for the WBTET 2022. The candidates can apply online only if fulfill the WBTET Eligibility criteria which have been given in detail below.

Age Criteria

Candidates must be at least 18 years old in order to fill out an online application form.
Candidates should not be older than 40 years old when they apply.

Educational Qualification For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)

HSC (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND 2 Years of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). OR
HSC (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND 4 Years of Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).OR
HSC (10+2) with at least 50% Marks AND a Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Educational Qualification For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)

The candidate must have completed a BSc or BA in the relevant discipline and B.Ed or Secondary Education with a minimum of 50% Marks necessary. OR
4 Years of Diploma in Educational Course with at least 45% Marks.

WBTET Admit Card

Candidates may get their WBTET 2022 admit card through the Authority's official website. Candidates will receive their admit cards fifteen days prior to the start of the test. The steps to download admit card is given below:
