About UTET Exam

Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET) is a state-level admission test conducted by UBSE, which is taken by aspirants who wish to seek a career in the field of teaching in either government or private schools of Uttarakhand.

The minimum age of the applicants who can sit for the exam should be 18 years and the maximum age must be 38 years.

UTET Exam Date

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education will publish the UTET exam dates for 2022 in a PDF notification. Candidates studying for the UTET 2022 exam should be aware of the exam dates so that they do not miss any important dates or deadlines. UTET Eligibility

UTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1

UTET Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Paper 2

The following are the eligibility criteria for UTET paper 2:

	Graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks in B.Ed as per the National Teacher Education Council

	SSC (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years of Bachelor's degree of 4 in B.A/ B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

UTET Admit Card

UTET Admit card will be released 10 to 15 days before the examination date. Admit cards will be uploaded on the official website and students will have to download the admit card. No hard copy of the admit card will be provided. Students will have to bring a printout of the admit card with them to the examination centre on the exam date.

How to Download the UTET Admit Card?

Visit the official website of UTET.
Navigate to the admit card section.
Click on the admit card link from the same.
Enter your login credentials to login into their account.
The UTET Admit card will be displayed on the screen.

UTET Selection

Candidates who pass the UTET exam are eligible to apply for primary school teaching vacancies in the state of Uttarakhand. To get hired as a teacher, candidates must score more than the minimum qualifying marks. The Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET) 2022 involves two stages for selection.

Written Examination: Level 1/Paper 1 (Class 1st to 5th) and Level 2/Paper 2 (Class 6th to 8th).
Personal Interview.

All candidates who want to apply for a teacher's post for Classes 1st to 5th and 6th to 8th must sit for Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. Candidates who want to apply for a teacher's post for Classes 1st to 8th must qualify for both papers. Candidates who qualify for the written examination and the interview round shall receive the appointment letter.

UTET Exam Pattern

UTET exam will have 2 papers. Candidates who clear the Paper-I can teach classes 1 to 4, whereas, applicants qualifying Paper-II can teach classes 6 to 8 students.

UTET Cut off

Within a few days of declaring the result, the USEB will release the UTET 2022 cutoff marks on the official website. The UTET 2022 cut off will depend on the following parameters:

The number of applicants who applied for the exam.

UTET How to Apply

Aspirants have to follow some steps to complete the procedure of UTET apply online 2022. Refer to the given steps below to fill out the UTET exam form:

Applicants must visit the official website, to begin, the one-time enrollment process.
The applicants have to fill in all the required details properly. After this, a unique user login Id and password will be generated.
On the homepage, you will find an option called "Apply", click on it.
Next, fill in all the personal, professional, and educational details in the application form, and upload scanned copies of all necessary documents.
Select your exam centre, paper, language and subjects, and candidate category.
Now, upload the scanned copy of your photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications
UTET application fee has to be paid after filling the form.
The last step is to make the payment via Debit card, Credit card, Internet banking, Wallets, etc.
Finally, the candidate can submit the UTET application form 2022.
