Department of Education under the Government of Sikkim conducts the STET exam one time annually. STET is the qualifying exam for the positions of Primary & Elementary teachers in the government schools of the state of Sikkim. Applicants are given the choice to take both the Primary and Elementary level exams if their eligibility fits for both. The official date for the commencement of application registration for the Sikkim TET 2022 exam is 6th September 2022. The candidates will be able to appear for the examination only if they fulfil the Sikkim TET eligibility set by the authorities like Age limit, educational qualifications, nationality etc. Following are the details for the eligibility requirements.
Certain age limitations are set by the Sikkim Human Resource Development Department for the candidates applying for the Sikkim TET examinations. The applicants must be between the age of 21 to 35 years. There are no age relaxations provided to any category. All the candidates must be between the prescribed age limit to apply.
The educational qualifications vary for Primary and elementary teacher posts. The candidates are advised to only apply if they fulfil the qualification eligibility otherwise, they will not be allowed to sit for the examination

The candidates must have passed with 50% marks in the above-mentioned qualifications. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC must have passed with 45% marks.

The candidates applying for the exam must be of Indian origin. Candidates holding the domicile certificate of Sikkim state are also eligible to apply for the examination.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Sikkim Human Resource Development Department.
Step 2: Check the circulars and notifications section where you will find a ‘Sikkim TET Admit Card 2022’ Option.
Step 3: Click on the link and enter your login details like email address and password.
Step 4: Download the file to save it on your device. Take a printout, later on, to carry it to the exam center.

The Sikkim TET exam pattern 2022 is divided into Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper I is conducted for the candidates applying for the Primary Teacher post (Classes I - V) and Paper II is conducted for the candidates applying for the Elementary Teacher post (Classes VI - VIII).
