About RTET Exam

Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is conducted by the Board of education, Rajasthan (BSER). The State-level RTET/REET exam is conducted for the recruitment of Level I or Primary Teachers and Level II or Upper Primary Teachers. Furthermore, as per various media sources, RTET goes to be held for 32,000 posts. Besides, those who clear REET are becoming to be eligible for the post of teachers in classes 1-5 and classes 6-8. Moreover, the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is conducted by the Board of education, Rajasthan (BSER).


RTET Exam Date

RTET Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criteria for class I to V (Paper I) and class VI to VIII class (Paper II) as given below :

Class I to V (Paper I)

12th or equivalent in the marks in aggregate is 50% & pass in or pursuing final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or 12th or equivalent in the marks in aggregate is 50% & pass in or pursuing final year of four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Or 12th or equivalent in the marks in aggregate is 50% & pass in or pursuing final year of two year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
 

Class VI to VIII (Paper II)

Passed B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com & pass in or pursuing final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or Passed B.A. / B.Sc./ B.Com in the marks in aggregate is 50% & pass in or pursuing one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Course. Or Passed B.A. / B.Sc./ B.Com in the marks in aggregate is 50% & pass in or pursuing one year B.Ed. (Special Education) Course. Or 12th or equivalent in the marks in aggregate is 50% & pass in or pursuing final year of four year B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed Course.

*The qualifying marks relaxation is permitted up to 5% in the minimum educational qualification for Reserved category candidates (i.e. SC / ST / OBC / Differently abled).


RTET Vacancy

For 2022, in both categories of exams, the Board of Secondary Education announced a total of 31,000 vacancy posts. The following are the job openings:

RTET Admit Card

Given below are the steps to download the Rajasthan TET Admit Card. Follow these steps carefully.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the board.

Step 2: Search the link for REET Admit Card 2023.

Step 3: Write your Application number and date of birth when asked.

Step 4: Hit the “Submit” button.

Step 5: Now, you can see your REET Admit Card on the screen.

Step 6: Download it and take a printout of it.


RTET Selection

A candidate who scores 60% or more in the TET examination will be considered as TET pass.

In accordance with NCTE Guidelines RTET Certificate shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination.

Note: RTET Should give weightage to the  Rajasthan TET scores in the recruitment process.


RTET Syllabus

The RTET syllabus is divided into two levels as well. Applicants must begin studying for the RTET exam by completing the entire RTET syllabus, which is as follows:

REET Exam Pattern 2023 for Level 1  
  • There are five sections in Paper 1- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
  • The difficulty level of the paper will be of the Class 12 standard.
  • Candidates have to complete Paper 1 in 150 minutes or two hours and thirty minutes.

REET Exam Pattern 2023 for Level 2  
  • There are four sections in Paper 2 - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Science & Mathematics, or Social Science.
  • The level of the paper will be Class 12 or Graduate level.
  • Candidates have to complete Paper 2 in 150 minutes or two hours and thirty minutes.
