About REET Environmental Studies Exam

The candidates preparing for REET 2022 must prepare as per the new REET Syllabus & Exam Pattern. Rajasthan to going to take the exam to select eligible candidates for the post of teachers in Rajasthan government schools. REET exam is conducted for two levels i.e., level I and level II. The level I exam is for classes 01st to 05th (Primary teachers), and Level II is for classes 06th to 08th (Upper Primary Teachers). Candidates must go through the syllabus of the REET 2022 exam before starting their preparation.

REET Environmental Studies Eligibility

REET Eligibility Criteria are mentioned in the official REET Notification. The qualification requirements for REET can be divided into 3 major categories:

  • Age Criteria
  • Educational Qualification
  • Nationality

REET Age Limit

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) does not mention any minimum or maximum age limit for the REET examination. So the candidates of any age segment who fulfill other eligibility criteria can apply. 
 

REET Educational Qualification

The minimum eligibility criteria which are strictly followed regarding educational qualification for both Level I & Level II examinations are mentioned below -

REET Eligibility Criteria for Level 1 (Classes I to V)

REET Eligibility Criteria for Level 1

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known).


REET Eligibility for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

REET Eligibility Criteria for Level 2

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).


Nationality

Candidates applying for REET should be a Citizen of India. Any foreign candidates or persons having the nationality of other countries will not be eligible for this Eligibility Tests.

Other Important Conditions for REET
  • Candidates should have a valid E-Mail ID before applying for this REET.
  • Candidates should have a valid and active mobile number which will be needed for the application.
  • Candidates Should secure a minimum of 60% marks to get qualified for this test

REET Environmental Studies Admit Card

Candidates can download the REET admit card online. There is no other mode of issuance of REET hall tickets. Candidates can check the space below to know the stepwise process to download the admit card. Knowing the process will help in reducing the last minute hassles.

1. Visit the official website of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
2. Click on the tab for REET from the sidebar at the homepage.
3. Click on the link stating ‘REET 2022 Admit Card’ appearing on the screen.
4. Clicking the relevant link will lead to the login window, enter the login credentials there.
5. Click the button reading ‘Print Admit Card.’

NOTE – Candidates must print the admit card right after downloading the same to avoid missing the printing process in future.

  1. Family – Personal relationships, nuclear and joint families, social abuses (child marriage, dowry system, child labor, theft); addiction (intoxication, smoking) and it’s personal, social, and economical bad effects.
  2. Clothes and Habitats – Clothes for different seasons; maintenance of clothes at home; handloom and power loom; habitats of living beings, various types of houses; cleanliness of houses and neighbouring areas; Different types of materials for building houses.
  3. Profession – Profession of your surroundings (stitching clothes, gardening, farming, animal rearing, vegetable vendor, etc.), small and cottage industries; major industries of Rajasthan State, Need for consumer protection, co-operative societies.
  4. Public places and Institutions – Public places like schools, hospitals, post offices, bus stands, railway stations; Public property (street light, road, bus, train, public buildings, etc.); wastage of electricity and water; employment policies; general information’s about Panchayat, legislative assembly, and parliament.
  5. Our Culture and Civilization and Pride – Fairs and festivals of Rajasthan, National festivals, Dresses, and ornaments of Rajasthan, food-habits, architecture, fort, places, painting and art and craft of Rajasthan; Tourist places of Rajasthan; Great personalities of Rajasthan, Proverb of Maharana Pratap, Mahatma Gandhi
  6. Panchyat Raj and Urban Self government in Rajasthan
  7. Transport and Communication – Means of transport and communication; Rules for pedestrians and transport, traffic symbols, Effects of means of communication on the lifestyle.
  8. Personal Hygiene – External parts of our body and their cleanliness, general information about the internal parts of the body; Balance diet and its importance; Common diseases (gastroenteritis, amoebiasis, methemoglobin, anemia, fluorosis, malaria, dengue.) their causes and methods of prevention: Pulse Polio campaign.
  9. Living Beings– Levels of organization of plants and animals, diversity of living organisms, state flower, state tree, state bird, state animal; knowledge of reserve forest and wildlife (national parks, sanctuaries, tiger reserve, world heritage), conservation of species of plants and animals, agriculture species.

REET Environmental Studies Exam Pattern

Candidates who are planning to appear in the REET 2022 must go with the new exam pattern in detail, and read the article till the end to understand the complete pattern and syllabus, to begin with, you prepared very well. Every candidate should prepare according to the syllabus.

  1. There would be 150 questions for 1 mark each.
  2. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours for each paper.
  3. There is no negative marking in REET Eligibility Test.
  4. Paper 1 is for Primary level i.e. class I to V
  5. Paper 2 is for secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII.
