About REET Child Development & Pedagogy (Level 1 and Level 2) Exam

The candidates preparing for REET 2022 must prepare as per the new REET Syllabus & Exam Pattern. Rajasthan to going to take the exam to select eligible candidates for the post of teachers in Rajasthan government schools. REET exam is conducted for two levels i.e., level I and level II. The level I exam is for classes 01st to 05th (Primary teachers), and Level II is for classes 06th to 08th (Upper Primary Teachers). Candidates must go through the syllabus of the REET 2022 exam before starting their preparation.

REET Child Development & Pedagogy (Level 1 and Level 2) Eligibility

REET Eligibility Criteria are mentioned in the official REET Notification. The qualification requirements for REET can be divided into 3 major categories:

  • Educational Qualification
  • Nationality
REET Age Limit

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) does not mention any minimum or maximum age limit for the REET examination. So the candidates of any age segment who fulfill other eligibility criteria can apply. 

REET Educational Qualification

The minimum eligibility criteria which are strictly followed regarding educational qualification for both Level I & Level II examinations are mentioned below -

REET Eligibility Criteria for Level 1 (Classes I to V)

REET Eligibility Criteria for Level 1

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known).

REET Eligibility for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

REET Eligibility Criteria for Level 2

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Nationality

Candidates applying for REET should be a Citizen of India. Any foreign candidates or persons having the nationality of other countries will not be eligible for this Eligibility Tests.

Other Important Conditions for REET
  • Candidates should have a valid E-Mail ID before applying for this REET.
  • Candidates should have a valid and active mobile number which will be needed for the application.
  • Candidates Should secure a minimum of 60% marks to get qualified for this test

REET Child Development & Pedagogy (Level 1 and Level 2) Admit Card

Candidates can download the REET admit card online. There is no other mode of issuance of REET hall tickets. Candidates can check the space below to know the stepwise process to download the admit card. Knowing the process will help in reducing the last minute hassles.

1. Visit the official website of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
2. Click on the tab for REET from the sidebar at the homepage.
3. Click on the link stating ‘REET 2022 Admit Card’ appearing on the screen.
4. Clicking the relevant link will lead to the login window, enter the login credentials there.
5. Click the button reading ‘Print Admit Card.’

NOTE – Candidates must print the admit card right after downloading the same to avoid missing the printing process in future.

REET Environmental Science Syllabus for Level 1
  • Family - Personal relationships, nuclear and joint families, social abuses (child marriage, dowry system, child labour, theft); addiction (intoxication, smoking) and its personal, social and economical bad effects.
  • Clothes and Habitats - Clothes for different seasons; maintenance of clothes at home; handloom and power loom; habitats of living beings, various types of houses; cleanliness of houses and neighbouring.

  1. There would be 150 questions for 1 mark each.
  2. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours for each paper.
