Punjab School Education Department had opened the online application window on the official website on 8th January 2022 and closed it on 10th March 2022. But due to some technical reason, Punjab Master Cadre online application form date has been extended from 31st March 2022 to 20th April 2022 and then extended till 5th May 2022. Now Punjab School Education Department has again extend the Punjab Master Cadre online application form date till 15th May 2022.

Punjab Master Cadre Teacher Social Studies Eligibility

The Punjab School Education Board has laid down certain rules for the age limit in the SSA Punjab Master Cadre Recruitment Official Notification 2022. Wherein, candidates planning to appear for the exam must satisfy the following age limit conditions:

Candidates must be of minimum 18 years
Candidates must be of maximum 37 years

Age Relaxations:

As per the guidelines in the official notice of SSA Punjab Master Cadre Eligibility, special candidates belonging to various categories including SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, Women, and Physically Challenged, are eligible for certain age relaxations. The upper age limit for such candidates has been reduced to up to 45 years based on their individual category.

SSA Punjab Master Cadre Eligibility Criteria 2022 - Educational Qualification

Candidates aspiring to work with the Punjab School Education Board department of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan as a teacher in the master cadre can go through the below mentioned educational qualifications required:

Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree from a Recognized University in the Relevant Discipline they are planning to appear for the exam.
They should also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education from a Recognized University or Institution with Punjab as one of the teaching subjects as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC)
Interested candidates should have cleared the Punjab State Teachers’ Eligibility Test (PSTET) Paper II.

Subject	Qualification
Social Science	Should have passed Graduation from a recognized university or institution and should have studied any of the two subjects i.e. History, Political Science, Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Geography, Philosophy and Environmental Studies for three years or Graduation. Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Social Science as one of the teaching subject.

The exam is a computer based test with multiple choice questions
It will be conducted in bilingual mode
A total of 150 questions on the concerned subject will be asked
There is 01 positive marks for each right answer
