Candidates must be Indian Nationals in order to be considered eligible to apply for the NVS Post Graduate Teachers post. They will be required to produce the proof of their citizenship at the time of verification of documents.
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has specified no bar on the number of attempts to appear in the NVS PGT recruitment drive. Candidates can apply for the post until they cross their maximum age restrictions and other eligibility factors.

The NVS PGT In Hand Salary is paid to the employees as per the norms of the government. The selected candidates will receive a salary on the pay scale of Rs.47600 - Rs.151100 (Level 8) after getting appointed for the post.
Along with basic NVS Post Graduate Teachers salaries, they will receive various allowances applicable for the post as amended by the officials from time to time after completing the probation period.
