About MP TET Exam

MPPEB has announced the exam dates for MPTET 2023 on 25th April 2023 as per the notification released on 30th December 2022. Madhya Pradesh Professional Education Board also mentioned that these dates are tentative and written examination dates will be finalized after the approval from the concerned departments. Candidates should prepare considering the tentative date as final because the board can conduct the exam on the tentative date also.

MP TET Eligibility

The basic eligibility criteria that candidates need to meet in order to appear for the MP TET exam are mentioned below.

  • Candidates should clear Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a two-year diploma in elementary education
    OR
  • Candidates should clear graduation and possess a B.Ed degree with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate
    OR
  • Candidates should clear Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a B.El.Ed degree
  • OR
  • Candidates should clear Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a diploma in Special Education

MP TET Admit Card

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board is yet to announce the release date of the admit card of MPTET 2022. Once the hall ticket is out, you can download the same through the link mentioned here. The Board shall release the MPTET admit card one or two weeks before the conduct of the exam. Therefore, you should visit the official website of the Board from time to time to catch the latest updates.

MPTET admit card contains the personal and exam details, including Name of Candidate, Roll Number, Date and Time of Exam, Reporting Time, etc. Ensure that you carry the hall ticket on the day of the exam along with an original copy of ID proof (Aadhar Card or PAN Card, etc.).


MP TET Salary

Teachers recruited by MP Professional Examination Board are entitled to receive the salary structure based on the new rules and regulations. Below you can check out the MP TET salary to be received by the primary teacher after the completion of 3 years:

MP TET Selection

Candidates must check the MPTET selection process before applying for the exam. Candidates taking the MPTET 2022 exam must obtain a minimum qualifying score to receive an MPTET certificate, which will allow them to apply for any teaching position in the state. Those who score 60% in the general category and 55% in the reserved category will be considered qualified for MPTET 2022 and will be permitted to work as primary and upper primary school teachers. MP TET Syllabus

The syllabus is the essential part of any examination, it helps aspirants focus on topics given in the syllabus and ignore unnecessary topics. The syllabus of all the subjects of MPTET 2023 is as follows

MP TET Exam Pattern

Candidates should know the exam pattern before taking MPTET 2023 written examination. This increases the chances of passing the exam with a good score. 

  1. The exam paper consists of 150 questions
  2. Each question carries one mark
  3. There is no negative marking for wrong answers
  4. The maximum duration of 2.30 hrs will be given

MP TET Cut off

MPPEB decides the cut-off for the MP TET each year. MP TET cut-off is the base that denotes a competitor needs to get qualified. MP TET qualifying marks for competitors having a place with General/OBC/SC/ST/PWD classifications are distinct.

The candidate will have to crack the minimum cut-off, to clear the MP TET 2022 Exam. The cut-off marks that were announced by the authorities for the earlier year are mentioned below.

MP TET How to Apply

The MPTET application form will be available on the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board. Candidates can only apply for the MPTET exam online, which requires them to first register, fill out the MPTET application form, and pay a certain fee for the exam. To prevent making an error in their application, candidates must follow the MPTET 2022 application process step by step.
 

Step 1: Registration
  • Click on the link for the online application process, mentioned at the beginning of this page. Then, you will land on the official website.
  • Mark the declaration box under the 'Declaration of candidate' section and click on ‘Continue’.
  • In the next window, click on ‘Profile Registration’. Now, click on ‘Yes’ if you have a pre-registered profile ID else click on ‘No’.
  • Enter your Mobile Number and Email ID for obtaining OTP.
  • After you have entered the correct OTP, you will be sent a Profile ID and Password on your mobile number.
  • Under the ‘Profile Login’ section, provide the prescribed information and confirm.
  • Next, you will be required to get eKYC done by entering your Aadhar Number.
  • To get eKYC done through OTP, enter the Aadhar card number to generate eKYC OTP.

Step 2: Application Process
  • After successful registration, you can log in using the Profile ID and password.
  • Now, you need to provide personal and educational details.
  • Next, you have to upload scanned images of the signature and photograph in the prescribed format.
  • In the next step, enter your category name and category number if you are an unreserved category.
  • After you have filled the entire form, ensure that you cross-check all the details.
  • Submit the details and generate a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Step 3: Application Fee
  • After the successful submission of the online application form, make the payment to complete the MPTET application process.
  • You can make the payment online mode using a Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking.
