MP SET History Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicants should have secured at least 50% marks without rounding off in a master’s degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university.
Applicants need to appear in the subjects of PG only.
Applicants should be passed in Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science, Earth Science, Population Studies, Education, etc.
Appearing applicants in the above qualification or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed can also apply.
Such candidates will be admitted provisionally.
There is no upper age limit for the MP SET.

MP SET History Exam Pattern

Candidates can check out the complete details of the MP SET exam pattern for the written exam below:

Paper 1 is going to have 50 questions from the general awareness subject. Whereas paper 2 is going to have 100 questions from the subject opted by the candidate.
As per the marking scheme, paper 1 is going to have 2 marks per correct answer and each question in paper 2 shall account for 1 mark.
There is no negative marking for answers that are been marked wrongly by the candidate.

MP SET History How to Apply

1. Applicants may apply by visiting the official website or by purchasing an application form from the office.
2. For the Online application, visit the website of MP PSC, mppssc.nic.in.
3. Submit all the general information in the asked format such as candidate’s name, father’s name, DOB, educational qualification, age, etc.
4. On successful registration, conducting body will send an email to your registered email id.
5. Upload scanned photo, sign, and caste/disability certificate if applicable in jpg/jpeg format only.
6. Size of the photo should be between 15 kb to 50 kb, Sign should be between 5 kb to 20 kb
7. There is no requirement of sending Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test form hard copy of certificates or printout of the confirmation page to university.
