About MAHARASTRA TET Exam

Maharashtra Teaching Eligibility Test is an entrance test conducted by the Maharashtra Council of Examinations to find various suitable candidates for different teaching posts across the state. Any candidates who have qualified for the paper will be eligible to apply for the post of primary teacher or secondary teacher based on the paper in which they have appeared. MAHA TET is a written test conducted as two papers: paper 1 and paper 2 based on the post for which the candidates have applied in MAHA TET 2022.

MAHA TET exam, a Maharashtra state-level Teacher Eligibility Test which is conducted to recruit the:

  • Primary school Teachers, and
  • Upper Primary Level Teachers

MAHARASTRA TET Eligibility

The MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria 2022 has not been released yet. Till the release of the official notification, candidates can follow the eligibility criteria of the last year i.e. 2022. Not many changes are expected in the eligibility criteria so candidates can follow last year data for the same.

MAHA TET Application Fees

The application fees for Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) are different for different candidate categories. They have been given below for your reference.   • Paper 1: General candidates pay INR 500/- and the concession fee is Rs. 250.
