JSSC PGT Eligibility

To apply for the JSSC PGT exam, the aspiring candidates must fulfil specific eligibility conditions in terms of educational qualifications and maximum age limit. Check details of the JSSC PGT Eligibility Criteria in the following subsections.

JSSC PGT Educational Qualifications

The applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 50% aggregate and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 45% aggregate and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 50% aggregate and B.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. from a recognized university.
  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 55% aggregate and 3 years B.Ed./ M. Ed from a recognized university.
 

Applicants must note that a relaxation of 5% marks is allowed for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

JSSC PGT Admit Card

When you fill the application for your registration, double-check all your responses before filling the form and clicking the "Submit" button. Once the application is submitted, it is tough to change any details later on. The details you fill, along with your registration ID, will appear on your Hall Ticket. The following are the steps to download your Admit Card:

  • Go to the official website for JSSC PGT examinations-
  • You'll find a tab- Important Links, on the left corner of the window. 
  • Scroll down to find the section labeled- 'Admit Card.' 
  • Click on the 'Admit Card' section to open a new window.
  • Fill the required details- Registration ID/ Roll number and Date of Birth. 
  • Click on "Submit." 
  • You'll be redirected to your admit card or hall ticket. 
  • Download it and make copies for backup.

JSSC PGT Selection

  • Commission will take CBT based examination.
  • The exam will be taken in One Phases: (a) Main Examination.
  • There will be two paper in the main examination and this examination will be taken in two shifts.
  • The duration of the each examinations will be 3 hours.
  • Paper-1 Exam – Graduate level questions will be asked while the Paper-2 Exam will be postgraduate level.
  • Examinations questions will be objective and objective type answers, the full mark of Paper-1will be 100 marks and each question will be 1 marks while the Paper-2 full mark will be 300 marks and each question will be 3 marks.

JSSC PGT Exam Pattern

Candidates should be equipped with the knowledge of the exam pattern that they’re going to attempt. It can help them in preparing themselves and help identify their weak and strong points. We have provided you with the complete information of the JSSC PGT exam pattern.

  • The exam will be an objective type test. 
  • The examination comprises two papers- Paper-1 and Paper-2.
  • Paper 1 will be qualifying in nature (Minimum qualifying marks are 33%).
  • Minimum qualifying marks for paper 2 are 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

JSSC PGT How to Apply

The candidate must go through the following Application guidelines to be able to easily fill out the Jharkhand PGT Teacher Application Form -

Step 1: Visit the official website of the commission, www.jssc.nic.in, and click on the online application for PFTTCS-2023. Now register yourself.

Step 2: After registration, candidates would receive their registration number at their email address and through SMS. note down the registration number and the password because they will be needed in the future for login purposes.

Step 3: After receiving the registration number and login credentials, candidates should log in again to complete the detailed information. Only candidates can move to the next page after saving the information on one page.

Step 4: Once the data entry is done, candidates should log in again the next day after 12 PM and pay the application fees.

Step 5: After making the payment, the next day, candidates should log in and upload the details of payments, a scanned photo, and a signature. Once candidates are satisfied with the photo and signature, they can submit the application form and take the printout for future uses.

Step 6: Before submitting the application form, candidates must verify whether the information filled in is correct or not otherwise, their candidature might be rejected for providing the wrong information.

Step 7: All the information in the application form would be cross-checked with the original documents during the verification round. On this occasion, candidates are expected to carry all the original documents. If candidates fail to show the original documents, their candidature might be accepted. 

Step 8: In case of multiple submissions of application forms, the last application form submitted would be considered valid, the previous application would be rejected, and candidates would not be liable for the application fee of previous applications.

Application Fee 2023

It is anticipated that the JSSC PGT 2023 application fee will be the same as the 2022 fee. The JSSC PGT application fee differs depending on the category of candidates. Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, and Mobile Wallets are all acceptable forms of payment for candidates.
