About CUET PG Physics Exam

CUET PG (Physics) 2023 University Grants Commission has announced that National Testing Agency is going to conduct a common entrance test namely CUET PG for the graduates who are willing to take admission to the postgraduate (PG) programmes offered by 42 central universities in the upcoming academic year. The complete details about CUET PG 2023 Exam will be uploaded on https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ and the same has been detailed in the article below. The National Testing Agency, NTA has scheduled CUET PG Exam date 2023 to be 1st June-10th June 2023. The CUET PG 2023 Registration Form window has been extended till 5th May 2023.


CUET PG Physics Exam Date

The online registration for the CUET PG 2023 has been notified along with the release of the CUET PG 2023 Notification. The exam will be held in two shifts- 9 am to 12:15 noon and 3 pm to 6:45 pm from 22nd to 30th June 2023 (Except 28th June). Check the important dates for CUET PG 2023 as mentioned below.

Education Qualification : Candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Reserved category candidates will get 5% relaxation.

Step 4. Your CUET PG Hall Ticket 2023 will be displayed on your screen.

Oscillations, Waves and Optics: Differential equation for simple harmonic oscillator and its general solution. Superposition of two or more simple harmonic oscillators. Lissajous figures. CUET PG Physics Exam Pattern

According to the official notification, CUET (PG) 2023 Exam is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, i.e., online mode.

  • The pattern of the Physics question paper will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions, and each question carries 4 marks. 
  • Also, there is a negative marking of -1 marks for each wrongly answered question.

CUET PG Physics How to Apply

The candidates have to fill out CUET PG Application Form 2023 to get registered for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Follow the below steps to fill CUET PG 2023 Application Form. 
 

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the CUET PG at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ to fill CUET PG Application Form 2023.

Step 2 - Click on the text reading ‘Registration for CUET(PG)-2023 is Live now’ appearing on the top.  

Step 3 - After clicking, a new page appears, click on “Registration for CUET(PG) -2023” and you will redirect to the CUET PG 2023 Application Form. 

Step 4 - Complete the registration process by entering details like program applied for, name, valid e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen. 

Step 5 - Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and are sent to the registered email address and mobile number. 

Step 6 - Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the log-in details like personal, academic qualifications and communication address.

Step 7 - Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format and dimensions. 

Step 8 - Select the examination centres- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centres.

Step 9 - On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. 
 

Application Fee

The application fee for the CUET PG 2023 exam is different for all categories. The application fee is not refundable or transferable once paid. It can be paid through credit card, debit card, net banking or Paytm services.
