Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) is a state-level teaching entrance exam conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB), Raipur. The candidates who wish to pursue their career as primary or secondary school teachers in the government or private schools of Chhattisgarh need to successfully clear the CG TET with a good score.

CG TET Eligibility

Age Criteria

There is no age limitation for the CG TET 2022 as long as the candidate fulfils the other eligibility conditions set by the authorities.

Educational Qualifications

The educational qualifications required for the Paper-I and Paper-II of the CG TET 2022 are elaborated below.

Paper-I: For Teachers I-V class (Primary Level)

The applicants should have passed Class XII with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
Candidates who have completed their graduation in B.SC/ BA/ B. Ed. degree with at least 50% marks can apply for CG TET 2022. The students who are appearing in the Final Four Year Bachelor of Elementary Education/a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education can also apply for this exam.

Paper-II: For Teachers VI-VIII Class (Upper Primary Level)

The candidates who have completed their graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of 2-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) are eligible to apply for CG TET 2022.
Those who have completed their graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
The candidates who have completed their Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and passed/ appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) can also apply for CG TET 2022.

CG TET Admit Card

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will publish the admit cards for the examination on the official website of the CG TET. The admit card will be released and can be downloaded a few weeks prior to the exam date.

CG TET Exam Pattern 2022

CG TET 2022 exam is held offline in pen and paper mode. It consists of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers are held in two separate shifts. Paper 1 is conducted for Class 1 to 6 teachers from 09:30 am to 12:15 pm and Paper 2 is held from 02:00 pm to 04:45 pm for Classes 6 to 8 teachers.
