About ASRB NET Exam

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) is the organizing body of ASRB NET (National Eligibility Test) and this examination is organized to analyze the proficiency of the candidates for the post of Lecturers / Assistant Professors. Those applicants are wishing and eligible to get this post, can appear in this examination on the basis of their eligibility criteria.

In the various State Agricultural Universities and other Agricultural Universities, this post will be provided to the candidates on the basis of their marks scored in this eligibility test. Every year many of the candidates appear in this test.


 

ASRB NET Exam Date

The official exam and other relevant dates for 2022 will be released in the official notification. However, based on previous years, we have provided the tentative dates.

ASRB NET Eligibility

To take the ASRB NET exam, candidates must have to be eligible. The eligibility criteria for the ASRB NET Exam are as follows:

ASRB NET Eligibility: Nationality
  • A citizen of India
  • A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan
  • Refugees from Tibet (those who came to India before January 1st, 1962)

ASRB NET Eligibility: Age Limits
  • To apply for the ASRB NET exam, candidates must have to be 21 years old as of January 01, 2022
  • Candidates below the mentioned age are not eligible to sit for the exam
  • There is no upper age limit for ASRB NET candidates.

Educational Qualifications
  • Candidates must have passed their Master’s in the concerned field before applying for the exam.
  • The candidates must have passed from a recognized Indian University.
  • If the candidate has passed from a foreign University, it must be recognized by the Govt. of India and the degree must be equivalent to the Master's degree offered by an Indian University.

ASRB NET How to Apply

The ASRB (Agricultural Scientist Research Board) conducts the ASRB NET or ICAR NET exam once every year. To apply for the exam candidates first have to go through the notification and then proceed to apply via online mode.

Here are the steps one must follow to apply for the ASRB NET exam 2022.

  • Interested candidates need to visit the official website of ASRB or ICAR, i.e., asrb.org.in.
  • Then click on the NET Application 2022 link.
  • After that, they must click on the ‘New Registration’ link and fill the registration form with their name, mobile number, and a valid e-mail Id.
  • After that, they will receive a registration number and password which will be directly sent to their registered e-mail Id to log in.
  • Then using the registration number and password, they must log in to their account.
  • They will then see the application form for the exam.
  • They should fill the application form with personal details and academic qualification details and then select their exam city.
  • After filling the form, they have to upload all the relevant documents.
  • The candidates have to proceed to the next step and make the payment for the exam.
  • After the submission of the application, they should download the soft copy of the application form and payment receipt for future references.
