UKSSSC Forest Inspector Eligibility

Age Limit

As per the UKSSSC Forester eligibility criteria 2021, the upper age limit for the candidates must not cross 28 years of age. The candidates belonging to SC, ST, and other reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit criteria as per the Uttarakhand State rules.

Educational Qualification

The UKSSSC Forester Eligibility prescribes that all the candidates who wish to appear for the recruitment examinations for the post of Forester must have completed 10+2 (agriculture and science) or equivalent from a recognized Board. 

Physical Standards

The candidates are required to fulfill certain physical requirements that have been set by the commission for selecting candidates for the post of Forester. The candidates who fulfill these physical standards will be eligible for the Physical Endurance Test (PET).

​Nationality

Candidates appearing for the UKSSSC Forester exam should be Indian citizens. Candidates from all over the country can apply for the post if they fulfill the other UKSSSC Forester Eligibility criteria 2021 mentioned by the Commission. The candidates may be asked to show any document as proof that they are a resident of India.

Number of Attempts

The UKSSSC Forester Eligibility Criteria 2021 allows the candidates to take as many attempts as they want, after reaching the minimum age limit and until they cross the upper age limit. This will be applicable for the candidates of both General Category and Reserved Categories.

UKSSSC Forest Inspector Salary

  • The UKSSSC Forester Salary in-hand will be approximately Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- as per level 5 of the Pay matrix.
  • The salary in hand given to the candidates is incremented considerably along with the basic pay and the allowances. 
  • If the applicants have completed their probation period, they will be eligible for raises in their basic salary.

UKSSSC Forest Inspector Exam Pattern

The candidates must qualify for the exam to be considered for the post of Forester in the Commission. The UKSSSC Forester exam pattern is divided into two stages i.e. the written exam, and the Physical Efficiency Test or Physical Standard Test. The exam pattern for each stage is given in the following table:

Written Examination
  • The UKSSSC written exam would be of the objective type, with multiple choice questions.
  • The written examination will be conducted for 100 marks.
  • The time span would be two hours (120 Minutes).
  • For the correct answer, one mark will be awarded; for the incorrect answer, 0.25 of the total mark will be deducted.

Physical Standard Test

The second stage of the selection process is the Physical Standard Test. Candidates who pass the written exam will be called to take the physical standard test. Male and female candidates will be subjected to physical standard tests. The board will assess candidates' physical standards, such as chest size (for men), height, and so on.
