The candidates interested to apply for the post of Food Safety Officer must be between 18 to 44 years of age. The recruiting body, however, provides some relaxation for the same. The age relaxation is given to the following:

The candidates must possess some educational knowledge to be eligible for the post. The candidate must have either of the below:
A degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University; OR Any other equivalent / recognized qualification
NationalityThe candidates interested in applying must be citizens of India to be considered for the post. The candidate must however satisfy other Eligibility Criteria to be eligible for the post.
