The TNPSC Executive Officer Grade IV Recruitment 2022 process has been started with the release of the official notification in May 2022. For the Group 8 exam, the written exam is scheduled to be conducted on 11th September 2022. TNPSC Executive Officer Grade 4 Eligibility

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidates must be 25 years as of 01.07.2022 while applying for the post. The upper age limit of the candidates varies as per the category stated below:

Educational Qualification

The TNPSC Executive Officer Grade 4 Eligibility for educational criteria should be fulfilled by the candidates before applying for the post. The required qualification is as follows:

  • Passed the SSLC examination with the eligibility for admission to college courses of studies in the Universities in this State.
  • Pass in SSLC exam of this State (10 years course of study)
  • Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

TNPSC Executive Officer Grade 4 Admit Card

All the candidates whose application forms have been duly accepted by the commission will be granted their respective TNPSC Executive Officer Grade 4 Admit Card. Follow the downloading procedure of the admit card shared below:

Step 1: Go to the official TNPSC website.

Step 2: Click on the “Hall Ticket Download” link under the Important Links.

Step 3: Click on OTR and Dashboard option.

Step 4: Next, enter the Login ID and Password in the login portal.

Step 5: The hall ticket can be viewed on the screen.

Step 6: Now, download or print the copy of the admit card PDF.

TNPSC Executive Officer Grade 4 Exam Pattern

It is advisable for all the candidates before jumping onto the TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus, firstly look at the Exam Pattern. The Group 4 selection is based on a written exam only. The exam will be for 3 hours consists of 200 questions. All the questions are Multiple choice questions (MCQs type). All sections will be objective in manner and the level is 10th standard only. The paper for the TNPSC Group 4 Exam consists of three subjects i.e.,

1. General studies section has 75 questions in all from general science, current events, geography, history, politics, economy, etc.

2. Then comes the Aptitude section with 25 objective questions that test aspirants' Aptitude & Mental Ability skills.

3. The General English/ General Tamil section, has been removed by TNPSC as per the revised TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus PDF. 

4. TNPSC Has incorporated the Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test of SSLC Standard which would consist of 100 questions for 150 marks.

1. The TNPSC Group 4 Prelims Exam will be conducted in offline mode.

2. The answers are to be marked on the OMR sheet.

3. After conducting the exam successfully, the TNPSC will release the Answer Key of the exam.

4. From Answer Key candidates get an idea about their score and they can also raise objections.

5. There is no negative marking in the exam.
