TNUSRB SI 2022 age limit is 20 to 28 years for general category applicants. There is slight relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/BC/MBC reserved category candidates. Find below the age relaxation by category to apply for TNUSRB SI vacancies.

TNUSRB will release the TNUSRB SI Admit card 10 to 15 days before the exam. One can download the admit card from the official website of TNUSRB. Each candidate must carry the TNUSRB SI Admit Card with them to the exam centre.

The candidate has to pass three stages to get selected for the Tamil Nadu Sub Inspector Post 2022. The three stages are Written Test, PMT/PET/EU Tests, and Interview Round. A detailed description of these stages is given below.
Stage-I: Written TestThe TNUSRB SI Written Test 2022 will have two parts, Part A and Part B. Moreover, Part A will consist of 30 questions and Part B will have 140 questions. It is the first step towards your selection for TNUSRB Sub Inspector Post, You must qualify well it the required marks to reach the next Stage.
Stage-II: PMT/ PET/ ET TestsIn this stage, the candidates have to pass the various physical body tests. The candidates have to clear the PMT/ PET/ ET tests to qualify for the further round, i.e, the interview round.

This test is to be given by only open quota applicants. All of the applicants who are participating in the TNUSRB SI Exam 2022 by departmental quota are exempted from the physical fitness tests. But departmental quota applicants have to give endurance tests.

Endurance Test (ET)
After qualifying for the PET test, candidates have to pass the Endurance Test (ET). The details of the Endurance Test (ET) are given below.

Candidates who will qualify for the previous tests and round will be applicable to give TNUSRB SI interview round. The interview round will test the candidate’s communication skills. Moreover, the interview round will consist of 10 marks for Open candidates as well as departmental candidates.
TNUSRB SI Syllabus 2022 for Paper 1 has general knowledge related topics for 40 marks. It covers general knowledge / science, history of India and Tamil Nadu, economics and commerce, politics and geography of India and the state of Tamil Nadu.
General Knowledge and General Science: Science in day-to-day life, electricity, magnetism, evolution, nutrition, human diseases, scientific instruments, and discoveries.
Geography of India and Tamil Nadu: Regions of India, Climate, Natural calamities, Monsoon, Crops, National Parks, Major Ports, Wildlife and Forests and Population explosion.
History of India and Tamil Nadu: Indus Valley Civilization and all significant events till present-day Indian modern administration.
Economics and Commerce: Industrial development, agriculture, social problems faced by state and solutions, village administration in Tamil Nadu.
Political Science: Indian Constitution, Citizenship, Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, Foreign policy, and Local Self Government.
Current Events across Tamil Nadu, India and World: Significant events in science and technology, sports, politics, literature of India, India and its neighbors, art literature, the culture of Tamil Nadu, National and international awards.
