Rajasthan Subordinate And Ministerial Staff Selection Board has re-opened the recruitment process for 2399 Forest Guard and Forester Posts in the Forest Department of Rajasthan. The RSMSSB Forest Guard Exam Date 2022 is officially announced on the official website i.e. @rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The RSMSSB Forest Guard Exam 2022 is going to be held on the 12th & 13th of November 2022 whereas the RSMSSB Forester Exam 2022 is going to be held on the 06th of November 2022. Note :- The second shift paper for the Rajasthan Forest Guard recruitment was canceled by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board on November 12, for which the re-examination will now be conducted in two phases on December 11, 2022, for which the first phase will start at 10:00 am. From 12:00 to 12:00, the time of the second phase will be organized from 3:00 to 5:00.

The ST, Assamese, Bhutanese, Garhwali, kamau, Gurkhas, Ladakhi, Mijo, Nepalese, Naga, and Sikkimese candidates including those who are from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul & Spiti, and Meghalaya are granted some relaxations in the height criteria in the following ways:
The Board has not mentioned a specific number of attempts in the RSMSSB Forest Guard Eligibility and RSMSSB Forester Eligibility criteria which indicates that candidates can apply for the post till they reach the maximum age limit of 40 years for Forest Guard and 24 years for Forester post.
The In-hand salary of the selected candidates for RSMSSB Forest Guard will get incremented in regular intervals along with the perks and allowances. The grade pay of RSMSSB Forest Guard Salary is in the range of Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20200. In hand salary is the salary which an employee will receive after deductions like income tax, provident fund, Gratuity, etc.

The third round of the RSMSSB Forest Guard selection exam is the Interview round. The State Board has set a weightage of 10 marks for the Interview test. Candidates who qualify both the two tests i.e. Written Test and PST & PET, will be called for this Interview round of selection process.
