Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 119 vacancies of Draftsman against Advt. No. 37 – 42/2022 on the official website i.e. ppsc.gov.in.

PPSC Draftsmen Eligibility

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for the PPSC Draftsmen examination is 18 years for all the categories. However, the candidates belonging to the unreserved category should not be more than 37 years of age to get qualified for the exam. Check out the age limit relaxation applicable for the reserved category students below.

Educational Qualification

Head Draftsmen (Group-B) Technical in the Department of Local Government of Punjab	Diploma in Civil Engineering or Certificate in Civil Draftsmen or its equivalent from a recognized university. And An experience for a minimum period of four years working as a Draftsmen in a Municipal Corporation/ Municipal Council / Nagar Panchayat / Improvement Trust or a Department of Government.
Draftsmen (Group-B) Technical in the Department of Local Government of Punjab	Diploma in Civil Engineering or Certificate in Civil Draftsmen or its equivalent from a recognized institution. OR Higher Qualification in the relevant field from recognized Institution
Draftsmen (Group-B ) in the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Punjab.	Should possess two years Certificate of Draftsmen Civil from an Industrial Training Institute or higher Qualification in the same discipline from recognized university or institute.

The PPSC Draftsmen admit card is released in the form of a PDF file. The candidates willing to write the examination need to follow the below-mentioned steps to check the same.

PPSC Draftsmen Exam Pattern

As per the official notification, the PPSC Draftsmen exam pattern will have a written exam followed by document verification for choosing the competent candidates. The candidates who get featured in the PPSC Draftsmen result list will be called for the second stage. Go through the details of the exam pattern mentioned below:

The examination is going to be held in the offline mode i.e. OMR mode.
The language of the question paper will be in English language only.
Each question carries 4 marks and for each correct answer and there is a provision of negative marking equal to 1 mark.
The candidate will be given 2 hours to complete the written examination.
