About MPSC Police SI Exam

Maharashtra police department has released the notification in which it states vacancies for the post of sub-inspector. Total 650 vacancies are to be filled. The process of filling the form will start from October 29, 2021, and the last date to apply is November 19, 2021. MPSC Police SI Eligibility

Nationality: A candidate should be a citizen of India.

Education Qualification: As per the notification, a candidate should have passed 10+2 or Intermediate from a recognized board or institution. A candidate should possess a graduate degree from a recognized board or institution. The candidate must know the Marathi Language and he or she must be able to speak and understand the conversations in the Marathi Language. Students who are in the final year of their graduation can apply but are expected to complete their degree at the time of appearing in the Maharashtra Police SI Prelims Exam.

Qualifying Exam: Written, Physical Proficiency Test, Medical Examination, and Interview or Document verification.

Age Limit and Relaxation: As mentioned above, the minimum age is 19 and the maximum age is 28 years to be fit for the recruitment process. The upper age limit for the reserved category is 31 years. There have been suitable relaxation provided by the recruitment agency to each category as per rules.
