About JSSC LDC Exam

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has released a notification (Advt No 07/2022 & 08/2022) to conduct a recruitment process for 991 Posts of Intermediate Level (12th Level) Clerk, Lower Division Clerk, Stenographer Vacancy through JIS (ckht) Combined Competitive Examination 2022. The Application Form for JSSC Inter Level Clerk LDC Recruitment 2022 are invited online mode from 27th May 2022 to 26th June 2022 (Extended to 10th July 2022)through the official website – www.jssc.nic.in. JSSC LDC Eligibility

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 35 years while applying for the post. There shall be usual age relaxation as per the rules for SC, SEBC, ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen, PWBD, PTGI, and in-service contractual employees. The table below shows the details regarding the same.

Educational Qualification

JSSC Clerk Educational Qualification is an important criterion to be fulfilled by candidates in order to participate in the recruitment process. As per JSSC Clerk Qualification, the candidate should have:

  • Candidates should have a minimum qualification of 10+2 level exam from a recognized board or university.
  • For the LDC post, candidates should have passed the 12th class with a Hindi typing speed of 25 wpm.
  • For the Stenographer post, candidates have to pass the 12th class with a Hindi typing speed of 30 wpm and a Hindi Steno speed of 80 wpm.

  • Candidates from all over the country are eligible to apply for the JSSC Clerk post, however, they must fulfill other mandatory requirements.

  • Stenographer : Pay Scale of Rs. 25500-81100/-, Pay Level- 4.
  • Clerk : Pay Scale of Rs. 19900-63200/-, Pay Level- 2.

JSSC LDC Syllabus

The candidates should go through the JSSC Clerk Syllabus carefully to prepare a consolidated exam strategy. They are advised to give equal priority to all the topics mentioned in the syllabus to clear the JSSC Clerk Cut-Off marks in the written exam. The exam will be conducted in 3 papers. Those are as follows:

Written Exam

The exam will be conducted on an OMR sheet. All questions in the exam will be objective type and have multiple choice answers. The exam will be conducted in three shifts for three papers. 

The duration of each exam will be 2 hours. The minimum qualifying marks in paper-1 is 30%. Candidates securing less than these marks will be considered ineligible for evaluation of paper-2 and paper-3. Similarly, candidates securing less than 30% in paper-2 will be considered ineligible for the evaluation of paper-3.
