About JSSC CGL Exam

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) recently released an official notification regarding 956 Various posts for General Combined Graduate Level Examination 2022. Applications are invited from all eligible & interested candidates for this recruitment. All details including eligibility criteria, Application Fee, age limit, etc are below provided.

JSSC CGL Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

Candidates willing to apply for the JSSC Recruitment must be holding a graduate degree from a recognized institution/university. For any further details you will have to be updated while filling up the application form for the domain you select.

Age restrictions:

Category Maximum age allowed
General 35 years
OBC / BC – Male candidates 37 years
General / OBC / BC – Female candidates 38 years
SC / ST 40 years

JSSC CGL Selection

he selection process for JSSC is a 2 step process that includes: Written test and an Interview

Written Test: Candidates who have registered for the JSSC Recruitment, will have to download the admit card and appear for the written test on the date and time specified in the admit card.

Interview: The candidates will be shortlisted based on obtaining minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities for the various roles. The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo an interview round for obtaining the jobs for the respective role that they have opted.

JSSC CGL Exam Pattern

  • Exam model: Offline
  • Exam Duration: 2 hours
  • Exams will be conducted in 2 phases: Prelims and Mains.
 

Candidates who qualify for the prelims exam will have to go for the further round of the Mains exam.

The paper has a negative marking system for the questions. A negative one (-1) mark will be awarded for any wrong answers attempted in the examination.

JSSC CGL How to Apply

Steps for filling of JSSC CGL 2022 application form

Step 1: Visit the official website of JSSC – jssc.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click the “Important links” tab

Step 3: Under “Important links” tab, click on “Application form”

Step 4: Select the application form for the JSSC Recruitment which you wish to apply for.

Step 5: Enter your personal details and register your mobile number as well as your e-mail id.

Step 6: Once you are done registering, select “use the registration details and password to login into the portal using the specified JSSC Recruitment link to fill up the application form.

Step 7: After filling the personal details, upload your passport size photo and a signature and the caste/special reserved certificate (if applicable/asked) in the image/document format.

Step 8: Now you will be directed towards the payment slab, where you can select any one of the payment modes to pay the application fee.

Step 9: After paying the fees, click on FINAL submission to submit your application form and terminate the application process.
 

Application Fee

The application fee for the candidates belonging to the General and OBC category is INR 800/-. The application fee for the SC / ST / PWD category candidates is INR 200/-.
