About TSPSC Librarian Exam

Educational Qualification

Librarian in Intermediate Education	Must possesses a Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce and a Postgraduate Degree in Library Science with first or second class with not less than 50% of marks from a university in India established or incorporated by of under a central act, state act, or a provincial act, or an institute recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.
Librarian in Technical Education	LEVEL-9-A, Entry Pay 56,100/- 1. Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least first class or its equivalent and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. 2. Qualifying in the National Level Test conduct for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC LEVEL-10 Entry Pay 57,700/- A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC, like SLET/ CET or Ph.D.

TSPSC Librarian Admit Card

The TSPSC has released the Telangana Librarian Admit Card on 11th May 2023. Steps to download the Telangana Librarian admit card are detailed below:

Step 1: Go to the official MHSRB website.
Step 2: Click on “Admit Card” available on the homepage.
Step 3: Now check the Telangana Librarian Admit Card link and click on it.
Step 4: Next, enter the Registration Number and Password in the login portal.
Step 5: The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Now, download or print the copy of the admit card PDF.

1. Telangana Librarian Exam is an Objective type
2. The duration of the test is 150 Minutes Each Paper.
3. Paper 1 comprises General Abilities And General Abilities which contains 150 Questions and each question contains 1 mark.
4. Paper 2 comprises Library & Information Science (M.Li.Sc. Level) which contains 150 Questions and each question contains 2 marks.
5. The language of the Exam is Paper 1 in English and Telugu and Paper 2 in English.
6. There is No Negative Marking.
