Age Limit

As per the eligibility criteria, the TNPSC Jailor age limit for both men and women is as follows:

Age Relaxation

Differently Abled Persons and Others are entitled to an age concession of up to 10 years over and above the maximum age restriction.
There is no upper age limit for candidates who are SCs, SCs(A), STs, MBC/DCs, BCs (other than Muslims), and BCMs.

Educational Qualification

To be qualified for the position of TNPSC Jailor (Men & Women), the candidate must have the following educational credentials:

On the date of the recruitment notification, an applicant must have a degree from any of the UGC (University Grants Commission) recognized universities.
The educational qualification necessary for this position must have been earned by completing the necessary qualifications in the following sequence: SSLC + HSC or its equivalent + Undergraduate degree. 3. Candidate should have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for registration and email ID and the given mobile number should be kept active. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will send intimation regarding certificate verification and other important updates
