IRDAI Assistant Manager Eligibility

Age Limit

According to the IRDAI Assistant Manager eligibility criteria, The aspirants who are applying for the post should make sure that they are not underage or overage. In such a case, the application is rejected directly. The age limit, as per the IRDAI Assistant Manager Eligibility Criteria 2023, is 21 to 30 years. Candidates of some categories get relaxation in the upper age limit, as explained in the table below.

Educational Qualification

On-line Preliminary Examination

This is a qualifying exam to be eligible for Phase - II, Descriptive Examination. Marks secured in Phase - I On-line Preliminary Exam will not count for interview or final selection. The exam pattern is as follows:

The exam is of 160 marks in total.
There will be 160 questions.
Each question will carry 1 mark.
There will be a negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer

Descriptive Examination

The descriptive exam will be held in 3 parts, Paper-I,II & III. Candidates are required to appear for all three papers in Phase-II Descriptive Examination in one session. The pattern will be as follows:

The exam will be descriptive in nature.
The exam will be divided into 3 papers, each of 100 marks.
Candidates will get 1 hour for each exam, i.e., 3 hours for the entire exam.

1. Candidates must visit the official website of IRDA @irdai.gov.in
2. Candidates will have to complete Registration first.
3. After Registering, candidates will be able to log in with their registration details.
4. Fill out the Application Form carefully with all the relevant information.
5. Upload the required documents in the application form in the prescribed format.
6. Pay Application Fees online mode.
7. Submit the IRDAI Assistant Manager Application Form and take a printout for future reference.
