HPSC HDO Eligibility

Following are the essential eligibility criteria to apply for the position of HPSC Horticulture Development Officer.

Educational Qualification

B.Sc in Agriculture (Hons.) with Horticulture as one of the subject or B.Sc in Horticulture from any recognized University
Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or Higher Education is essential.

Age Limit

Candidate must be less than 42 and more than 18 years of age to apply for this position (as on 16th March 2023).
The upper age limit for an applicant of any category (except ExServiceman) shall not exceed 52 years who is entitled to avail the benetlt of relexation in age of one or more of the categories mentioned below.

Ex-serviceman including Short Service Commissioned Otficers and Emergency Commissioned Officers.	Relaxation in age to the extent of his military service added by three years provided (a) he has rendered continuous military service for a period of not less than six months before his release; and (b) he was released otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or ineffeciency.
Persons who have already worked or presently working on adhoc /contract /work-charged/ daily wages basis in any Department / Board / Corporation of Haryana Govemment including Govemrnent-aided lnstitutions under Haryana Govemment.	Relaxation in age equal to the number of completed Years only on equivalent post on adhoc/ contract/ work-charged/ daily wages basis excluding the period of break, if any, including any other age relaxation admissible, if any, subject to maximurn age of 52 years and also subject to the condition that if once a person has been appointed on regular basis in any Deparln.rent / Board / Corporation etc. of Haryana Government with the benefit of relaxation in age he will not be entitled to avail the same again for any subsequent appointment

HPSC HDO How to Apply

1. First you need to visit the official website .
2. On the homepage search for “New Registration” and click on that link.
3. There do all the required steps to create your Registration ID and password that will be required for filling up the application form.
4. Once your login credentials are made, then log in using those credentials.
5. After login you can see the application form. Fill the form carefully. Try not to make any mistakes in order to avoid future problems.
6. After correctly filling in all the details you will be asked to upload some documents. Upload everything as per specifications along with your scanned photograph and signature and click on the “Continue” option.
7. Preview the form once again. If everything is correct click on the “Submit” button.
8. Your application will be submitted. You can download and take a printout for future correspondence.
