The last date to apply for Gujarat High Court DYSO Recruitment has been extended to 18th June 2024. The Gujarat High Court had released 122 vacancies for the post of Deputy Section Officer. The application dates will soon be released in the official notification.

GPSC Deputy Section Officer Eligibility

To be eligible for the Gujarat High Court DYSO position in 2024, candidates must be at least 18 years old as of the cutoff date for unreserved candidates and must have graduated in any subject from a recognized university. They must be Indian nationals and permanent domiciles of Gujarat. Vacancies are to be announced, with job postings at the Gujarat High Court in Ahmedabad. Candidates in the PWD quota or those who are Freedom Fighters are entitled to age relaxation as per Gujarat government rules.

Gujarat High Court DYSO Educational Qualification 

The candidates willing to appear for the Gujarat High Court DYSO exam pattern must be a graduate in any subject from a recognized university. Along with this, they must also qualify the following two criteria mentioned below:

  • Candidate must have passed class 10th or 12th examination with English as one of the subjects
  • A certificate with respect to Basic knowledge of Computers as prescribed by the State Government from time to time.

Gujarat High Court DYSO Domicile

According to the official information handout of the Gujarat High Court, the applicant should be a permanent domicile of Gujarat. Only those reserved candidates who are able to prove their domicile can avail of all the relaxation benefits given by the Court. However, the applicants of other states will be treated as General category candidates and will be void of all the exemptions.

Gujarat High Court DYSO Scribe

Although, the candidates who belong to the Ph.D. category are liable to receive the benefits of the age relaxations. However, there is no mention of a scribe facility for the candidates who are orthopaedically or visually challenged. This implies that the candidates are required to appear for the exam on their own.

As per the official Gujarat High Court RO Eligibility Criteria, there is no mention of maximum attempts. The Court has said that as long as all the candidates fulfil the important qualifications they are allowed to apply and participate in the exam.

The Gujarat High Court DYSO Admit Card 2024 will be released for all the candidates. The official notification says that no candidate is going to receive the admit card by post. Moreover, there will be two separate admit cards for the elimination test and mains exam. The candidates can follow the steps given below to download the Gujarat HC DYSO admit card:

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the HC Ojas site option from the left-hand sidebar. 

Step 3: Next, click on the Call letter tab on the official page of OJAS and choose the Call letter option from the drop-down 

Step 4: After this, choose the job name, enter 8 digit Confirmation No. & Birth Date and click on the print e-call letter option

GPSC Deputy Section Officer Salary

Gujarat HC offers attractive salary packages to candidates who are successful in clearing the Gujarat High Court DYSO Exam Pattern and getting appointed. Gujarat High Court DYSO Job Profile 2024

The candidates willing to work as a Deputy Section Officer need to fulfil the following duties post successfully finding their names in the Gujarat High Court DYSO Result list:

  • Identify and go through the issues related to the court case and record a note.
  • Provide reply to RTIs, Grievances of Public/Employees, Parliament Questions, etc as posted by the general public.
  • Manage financial aspects, prepare a budget for different departments of the union government. 
  • Prepare complete reports on different issues by going through them in detail.
  • Assist in the formulation and monitoring implementation of policies concerning subjects.

GPSC Deputy Section Officer Syllabus

Phase 1: Elimination test

The elimination examination will be conducted for students who possess the required Gujarat High Court DYSO Eligibility Criteria. The major key points related to the written exam are given below:

  • The written exam will be conducted in the OMR sheet/Online mode. This will be later decided by the Court and the same will be commuted to the candidate
  • There will be a total of 100 questions from all the subjects altogether accounting for 100 marks
  • The language of the paper will be English however, the language of the Gujarati language paper will be in Gujarati only
  • The candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the examination.
  • The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • As per the official notice, the passing marks for the written exam is 50 marks for the unreserved candidates and 45 marks for the reserved category candidates.

Phase 2: Mains Test

  • The written examination will be conducted in the offline mode i.e. OMR sheet.
  • There will be a total of 100 questions from all the subjects as mentioned above and each subject will account for 50 questions each 
  • The candidates will get 100 marks for the complete written exam.
  • The composite duration to finish the exam is fixed at 3 hours or 180 minutes.
  • The candidates who will complete the written exam with a minimum of 40% marks will be called for phase 3 i.e. document verification round.
