CG Forest Guard Eligibility

The candidates aspiring for the CG Forest Guard job profile have to make sure that they abide by all the basic criteria. Educational Qualification

The candidates willing to participate in the selection process must fulfill the minimum CG Forest Guard eligibility for qualification. Candidates should have qualified for the class 10+2 examination from a recognised board with passing marks to be eligibile.

Domicile

The candidates who are permanent citizens of Chattisgarh will be preferred over candidates who are non-domiciles. These candidates shall also be eligible to receive age relaxation in the upper age limit.

As per the official notification, the candidates who find their name in the CG Forest Guard result list will be eligible to draw a salary as per the pay scale of INR 5200/- to INR 20200/- as per 7th CPC in the grade pay of INR 1900/-. CG Forest Guard Exam Pattern

Physical Standards

Candidates need to fulfill the following standards as mentioned for their category. Those who fail to do this are considered ineligible for the further rounds:

Physical Standard Test (100 Marks)

The PST round is the first round of the exam pattern and is held for 100 marks. In this round, candidates will be required to clear each round of the test accounting for 25 marks:

Written Exam (100 Marks)

The examination will be held in offline mode and the CG Forest Guard answer key will be released later.
100 questions will be asked in the exam.

Candidates will get 2 hours to complete the written examination

Bonus Marks (10 Marks)

The board has assigned a bonus 10 marks to the candidates who has:

Grade B certificate of C category in the NCC certificate.
Been playing any games at the district or national level recognised by the department. Those who have attained the first rank in any of the games will be eligible to get 3 marks.

Walking Test (Qualifying Round)

Once the written examination is over, the last round i.e. walking test will be held in this, the male and female candidates will be required to complete it within the assigned time:
