The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the online application notification for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Main exam 2022. The candidates who successfully qualified the preliminary examination for the position of lower division clerk (LDC) are eligible to apply for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Main examination 2022. The candidates must submit their applications on the BPSC website within the allotted time frame, which is till 05th October 2022. After the submission of applications, the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Main exam will be held to select candidates for the relevant positions.

Candidates applying for the recruitment must be at least 18 years of age. The age limit must be met as of the last date of submission of the application. The upper age limit shall be as per the category. There will be an age relaxation given to certain categories of candidates as below:

No age relaxation applies to EBC, BC, Female, S.C./ S.T. candidates of other States. They will be treated as general candidates. It is to be noted that candidates who come under more than one category, will be eligible for only one age relaxation benefit, whichever is considered most beneficial to them.
Educational QualificationAs per the educational qualifications, as mentioned in the BPSC LDC Eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed intermediate (12th class) or its equivalent from a recognized institution. Candidates must also possess proficiency in computer operation and computer typing.
NationalityThe BPSC LDC Eligibility criteria for nationality defines that both the male and the female candidates must be citizens of India. Other nationals were declared eligible by the Government of India. Candidates should avoid furnishing any false information as all the applications are carefully scrutinized by the commission. They will have to produce authentic ID proof during the verification process.
Physical StandardsThe candidate must meet the physical requirements set by the BPSC to be eligible for the BPSC LDC Exam. For that, the candidate must be of good mental condition, bodily health, and free from any physical defects that are likely to interfere with the discharge of his duty in the services.

BPSC LDC Salary is always the one driving factor that keeps the candidates motivated. The BPSC LDC Salary entirely depends on the nature of work and area of posting. Aspirants who make it to the final BPSC LDC Merit List will be selected for the post and also will be offered a salary package as per the 7th Pay Commission. The BPSC LDC salary would lie between INR 19,900/- - INR 63,200/- per month as of Level 3.
