BPSC Civil Judge Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification: You must have a Bachelor of Laws from any institute or university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Bihar Judiciary Sevices Age Limit: The minimum age is 22 years, while the maximum age allowed for the exam is 35 years. The upper age limit for women and physically disabled persons is extended to 40 years.

BPSC Civil Judge Vacancy

Every year, the number of vacancies released will vary based on the available posts. This year, the Bihar Public Service Commission will release around 250 Bihar Judiciary Vacancies for civil judge posts.  Last year, 221 vacancies were released by the Bihar Public Service Commission. BPSC Civil Judge Salary

At the entry level, the judge gets around INR 28,000 per month, whereas the Junior civil judge will get INR 12,000 per month. The senior division civil judge draws a salary of INR 21,000 per month. The basic salary of a high court judge is INR 80,000 per month.

The Bihar Judiciary Mains exam consists of 5 compulsory papers. Among the 5 papers, General English and General Hindi will be qualifying in nature. Candidates should score 30 marks out of 100 marks in both papers to get their other papers evaluated. Also, there are 5 optional papers, among which the candidate should select any 3 papers.
