Candidates who are 5 times the number of vacancies in respect of each category both Male & Transgender and Female will be shortlisted to participate in the PST (Physical Standard Test) & PET (Physical Efficiency Test) on a merit basis. The details for both the posts are mentioned below:
Physical Standard Test (Common for Both Post)
The shortlisted candidates will be called to participate in the Physical Standard Test. The PST will carry no marks. The height, weight, chest (only for Male & Transgender) of the candidates will be measured and then they will be inspected by the medical officer for preliminary checkups. Once the candidates who will qualify in PST will be shortlisted to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test.
Assam Police SI Physical Efficiency Test (For Unarmed Branch)
