TS SET (Linguistics) 2023 Application Form for Exam can be filled till 25th January 2023. Apply Online for This Exam and the Admit Card is Released soon. TS SET Linguistics Eligibility

It is important to ensure that the candidate successfully meets all the TS SET eligibility criteria mentioned by the university before applying for the examination. Some details regarding the requirements are mentioned below:
 

Age Limit

The candidates applying for the TS SET post should know the decided TS SET Age limit as per the authorities. Candidates applying for the Assistant Professor and Lecturer post must have a minimum age of 18 years. And there is no upper age limit to apply for the post.
 

TS SET Educational Qualification

To recruit the best-qualified candidate for the post, there is a requirement of certain TS SET Minimum qualifications that the candidate must satisfy. These qualifications are specified below:

Educational Qualification

Assistant Professor and Lecturer

  • Candidates must have earned at least 55% (without rounding off) in their Master's degree to be considered. Eligible degrees include M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed, M.PEd, MCJ, LLM, MCA, and M.Tech (CSE & IT only). However, candidates from the OBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories are only eligible for this test if they received at least 50% of the marks (without rounding off) in their Master's degree. 
  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in a Master's degree program, candidates who have taken their qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination but have not yet received their results, and candidates whose qualifying examinations have been postponed may also apply for this test. However, after passing their Master's degree examination with at least 55% marks (or 50% marks in the case of OBC/SC/ST/PwD), such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for Assistant Professor/Lecturer. 
  • Candidates who identify as a third gender, or transgender, would be qualified to receive the same qualification criteria relaxations as SC/ST/PWD categories. 
  • The PhD degree holders who had finished their Master's level examination by September 19, 1991 (regardless of the date of result declaration) are qualified for a 5% aggregate mark relaxation.

As for Nationality, Indian citizens are required to apply for the TS SET. Candidates might have to prove they are a citizen of India, so they must keep the necessary documentation ready.

TS SET Linguistics Exam Pattern

The Exam conducting body insists that the candidates are qualified (total slots) based on the marks scored in the TS-SET Exam. The Test will consist of two papers. The aggregate of marks in both the papers of TS-SET will be considered to evaluate the Eligibility for Assistant Professor and Lecturer.
