TN SET Sanskrit Eligibility

TN-SET has decided a certain set of criteria which a candidate needs to meet in order for him/her to be eligible for the examination. These sets of criteria are based on the educational qualification of the candidate. Read the following article to know more about the eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification
  • Candidates must qualify master or equivalent degree from a recognized board or university.
  • He/ She must score a minimum 55% marks for General/ OBC category candidates and 50% marks for OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ SC/ ST/ PwD.

TN SET Sanskrit Exam Pattern

The TN-SET consists of two papers i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. TN-SET Paper 1 will be common to all the candidates, while Paper 2 will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate as per their educational qualifications.

  • The TN-SET exam is based on the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern.
  • The total duration of the exam is 3 hours, out of which one hour is for Paper I and two hours for Paper II.
  • Paper I tests the General Knowledge, teaching capabilities, research aptitude, etc. of the candidate.
  • TN-SET Paper 2 will test the understanding of the chosen subject as per the candidate's qualification.

TN SET Sanskrit How to Apply

Candidates who want to appear for the TN-SET 2023 examination have to first understand the steps to apply for it. Candidates need to follow the given steps to fill the TN-SET 2023 Exam form.
 

Step-1: To register click Registration in the Menu and enter your email and set the password. You will receive a confirmation mail from TN-SET.

Step-2: Click the confirmation mail which will take you to the TN-SET website.

Step-3: Now login with the password used for registration and complete the application form. Note down your email and password for further logins.

Step-4: Upload legible scanned images of (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) mentioned above

Step-5: Pay fee using the payment gateway integrated to the online application.

Candidates have to pay the examination fee either by credit/debit card/net Banking.
