About AP SET Economics Exam

AP SET Economics 2023 Application Form for July Exam can be September 2023. Apply Online for This Exam and the Admit Card is Released soon. Eligibility Criteria for this exam is that the candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidates can apply for the recruitment by filling in the online application through the official website. The APSET Exam will consist of a written examination which will be the only stage of the selection process. The candidates who qualify the test will then be called for a document verification. The candidates will then be selected for recruitment and promotions of Lecturers, Assistant Professors in Universities and Degree Colleges. AP SET Age Limit

APSET requires a Master's Degree as its basic educational qualification. So you have to be experienced enough to attend to get a Master’s Degree. There is no Upper limit on the age for this exam as specified by the Andhra Govt

AP SET Educational Qualification

There are certain Educational Backgrounds that a candidate must have in order to appear in the exam. The same has been listed below:

  • Candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities recognised by UGC are eligible for this Test.
  • Reserved candidates get a relaxation of 5% which means they need to secure at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
  • Candidates who are still pursuing Master’s and have given final exam can also apply with the fact that their candidature will be provisional.

AP SET Economics Exam Pattern

For the APSET 2023 examination, the candidate will have to appear in two papers which will be held on the same date. Read below to know in more detail about General Paper (Paper-I) and Subject paper (Paper-II). The General Paper (Paper-I) will be including questions from general teaching/researching aptitude. The Subject paper (Paper-II) will be based on the subject chosen by the aspirant.

  • The questions in Paper-I (General paper) will be of 2 marks each.
  • The questions in Paper-II (Subject paper) will be of 2 marks each.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. 
  • Both the papers will be Objective type tests. 
  • Candidates need to mark their responses in the Optical mark reader (OMR) sheet provided for both the papers. 

AP SET Economics How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: Start filling up the application form with all details like; personal information, exam/subject choices, educational details, etc.

Step 3: Upload your photograph and signature and other documents as required.

Step 4: Candidates have to then pay the application fee based on the category they fall under.

Step 5: Before submitting the application, check if all details are correctly mentioned.

Step 6: Click on the submit button and also take a copy of the application form for further reference.
 

Note: No applications will be accepted by the board after the last date of application.
