Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is a joint initiative started by the Government of India and the Government of New Delhi. DMRC conducts a recruitment exam every year for various posts that are vacant under various departments in Delhi Metro.

The DMRC exam is conducted to fill in various positions in Delhi Metro such as the Chief Project Manager, Deputy General Manager (DGM), General Manager (GM), Junior Engineers, Customer Relation Officers, Assistant Managers, Maintainers, Stenographers, etc.

DMRC exam is a computer-based test that involves questions on general awareness, logical ability, problem-solving, decision making, general English etc. The duration of the DMRC exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

2. Age Limit: The prescribed age limit of the applicants should not exceed 55 years as of March 01, 2022.
3. Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess the appropriate degree of 3 and 4 years in graduation or any diploma as per the requirement of the job for which the candidate is applying. The degree should be from a recognized Board or Institute.
4. Medical Requirements: The candidate must be medically fit for the appointment to the post and should fulfill all the health criteria to be eligible for final selection.

Age relaxation is a benefit that is provided by the recruiting authority to specific candidates who fulfill certain criteria. One must ensure that one is eligible to take the relaxation benefits in all manners.

As per the information, the DMRC provides age relaxation to a different number of candidates who range from ex-servicemen to victims of the riots of 1984. Once the official notification is released, candidates can check their eligibility and other important details.

DMRC is yet to release the official notification and hence the vacancies. The number of vacancies notified in the last DMRC recruitment notification is as follows

Admit card is the call letter that is sent to the candidates approximately 15 days before the examination by DMRC for the posts advertised once their candidature is provisionally approved. There is usually an option to download the admit card from the official website once the link is activated.

The admit card will only be available for those candidates who have completed their payment of the application form. It is always in the best interest that candidates check all the necessary details on the admit card once they get to download it.

Step 3. You will find the section that says Admit Cards and click on the Download Admit Card Notice on the Careers Page.

Step 4. You need to enter all the credentials asked that consisting of registration number and date of birth.

Step 5. After filling up all the crucial details, the students will be able to download the admit card successfully. You are advised to take out the printout of the admit card for future references and purposes.

NO candidate is going to be allowed to enter the examination hall without producing the printout of the admit card.

The contractual appointments last for a period of two years only. The salary of the various posts is as per the 7th central pay commission. The salary for various posts in the DMRC is as follows:

DMRC exam is conducted in offline mode for the posts of Assistant Manager (Electrical, Civil, and S&T) and SC/TO while it will be conducted in online mode for CRA, JE, Maintainer, and other posts.

DMRC Exam is an objective-type exam that consists of two papers: Paper 1 and 2. DMRC Exam consists of a total of 180 questions for which the students get a duration of 2 hours 15 minutes.

DMRC Paper 1 involves questions on GK, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Knowledge of Domain, on the other hand, Paper 2 is taken to check a candidate’s ability in the English language.

A student is awarded one mark for each correct answer, and for every wrong answer, -0.33 marks are deducted.

Cut off is an important factor in any exam process. It is the minimum marks as decided by the exam conducting authority after the exam. The cut-off is different from the qualifying marks. Qualifying marks are defined in most of the notification itself but cut off is arrived at only after the exam.

The number of vacancies, the difficulty level of paper and the number of candidates appearing in the exam is the three important factors that are considered in calculating the cut-off.
