CSIR NET Mathematical Sciences Eligibility

For an applicant to appear in the CSIR NET 2023 examination has to follow the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

  1. Bachelor's degrees, regardless of whether science, engineering, or some other discipline, are eligible for the fellowship solely after getting enlisted/enrolled for a PhD or Integrated PhD program within the legitimacy time of two years.
  2. Enrolled for M.Sc. or have completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying exam are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the category 'Result Awaited (RA)

CSIR NET Mathematical Sciences Selection

Aspirants must acquaint themselves with the latest CSIR NET selection process recently revised by the CSIR through notification. Knowledge of various stages helps candidates mentally prepare for the upcoming round of the CSIR NET exam, and this help in devising a better strategy for the exam.   • CSIR NET Application Form: The first and foremost step is to complete the CSIR NET June 2022 application form correctly before the last date.

  • CSIR exam pattern for mathematical science contains a total of 120 MCQ out of which candidates need to attempt only 60 questions in 3 hours duration. 
  • There is only one correct option in part A and B there might be one or more correct options for each question. Marking scheme for part A carries 2 marks weightage for each question where section B carries 3 marks for each question and C carries 4.7 marks for each question.
  •  There is a negative marking of 2.5 marks for section A is 0.75 marks. In section B and no negative mark in section C of the exam.
