The National Eligibility Entrance Test, Postgraduate or NEET (PG) is a national-level qualifying and ranking examination conducted by the NBE (National Board of Examination) for the students willing to study various postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and diploma courses from the government or private medical colleges across the country. Interested students are granted admission to their preferred medical courses on the basis of the NEET PG 2023 exam results. The counselling and seat allotment are conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). NEET PG Result 2023 has been released on 14th March 2023 at natboard.edu.in.

Know about NEET PG Eligibility criteria in the below given section:
General Eligibility (For MD/ MS/ PG Diploma Courses):After the declaration of NEET PG results, the counselling schedule and procedure has been released on the website. The registration for PG counselling will be conducted from 15th September 2022 by the designated counselling authority will be as per the details submitted by candidates during application process.
The eligibility and documents of the candidate will be verified for admission procedure. Students must report with their all documents to get seats in the allotted colleges.
Candidates need to know NEET PG 2022 exam pattern as it helps candidates in preparation. The exam pattern for NEET PG 2022 comprises details about the test paper, comprising the mode, medium, number of the question paper, duration of time, and the marking scheme. NEET PG 2022 will be held in online mode. The question paper will have 200 multiple choice questions, and candidates will be given 3.5 hours to answer them. There will be a provision of the negative marking in the exam. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for an incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
For admission into MD/ MS/ PG diploma courses, candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks. Those securing less than the prescribed cut off marks are not considered eligible for admission and no merit/ rank position shall be given to the candidate.
NEET PG Cut Off for General candidates is 50% (40% for ST/ SC/ OBC/ Reserved PWD candidates). For candidates of UR-PWD category, the cut off marks are 45%.
