SLAT 2024 Exam

SLAT also known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). It is a common entrance exam for admission in 4 Symbiosis law schools (SLS), which are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur. The courses in which admission is offered are BA LLB (Hons) , BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB and BBA LLB. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes and there are 60 MCQs of 60 marks in the test. Based on the scores of SLAT, candidates are shortlisted by the SLS. The selected candidates have to then appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Further, based on the scores of SLAT, PI and WAT a merit list is drawn for admission in respective Symbiosis law schools.

The SIU authority has declared SLAT 2023 Exam Date online on its official website. The notification of the SLAT states the complete exam schedule for the UG and PG courses from SIU. All the SLAT 2023 important dates, including exam dates, result declaration, and last date to apply, are mentioned below.

Candidates who want to appear in SET Law 2022 should fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the SIU. The SLAT 2022 eligibility criteria include a set of conditions that candidates must meet. These include minimum educational qualification, minimum marks in qualifying examinations, age limit and others. Candidates can check the SLAT eligibility criteria below.

SIU has released the admit card of SLAT 2022 today, June 22, 2022. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging into the SET law admission portal. The admit card will carry the details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam centre name and address along with exam day instructions.

The selection process under SLAT 2022 will include an entrance test, writing ability test and personal interview which is followed by document verification. The selection process of SLAT is explained below.

• Candidates seeking admission to any of the law schools participating in SLAT 2022 will have to appear in the entrance examination.
• There will be a writing ability test (WAT). It will be conducted and evaluated separately by the law schools participating in the admission process. The scores of WAT round will not be announced at the time of admission.
• Candidates who have passed the common entrance exam will be invited for personal interaction round by the law schools. The PI round for each law school will be conducted separately.
• Final admission lists will be released by each law school separately after considering the candidates performance in the entrance test, WAT and PI round. Candidates can check the weightage of each screening step below in the table
