Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) is conducted for the students who want to be enrolled in Undergraduate (UG) law courses offered at 22 National Law Universities and other private Law colleges/universities accepting Law scores. CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of representative universities. Every year, CLAT Exam is conducted once for providing opportunities to aspirants who are seeking admission to Law Schools & Colleges. Besides NLU, more than 50 private colleges and universities are accepting admission on the basis of CLAT Scores. The Consortium of NLUs releases the NLU-wise CLAT cut-off for the 5-year integrated and one-year LLM programs. The cutoffs would be category-specific and indicate the minimum marks (or ranks) one needs to secure in one's given category to be considered for admission.

Step-I Registration - The candidate needs to register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id.
Step-II Login - Log in with your email id and password to access the application form.
Step-III Choose the program of study - After logging in, the first thing is to select the program of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
Step-IV Fill the complete form - There will be different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam center preferences (THREE centers can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields need to be filled.
Step-V Submit the form - Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent, and submit the form.
Step-VI Pay the application fee - In the last step, pay the application fee (which is category-specific) in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking. Note that in addition to the exam fee, candidates will have to pay an additional INR 500 if they want to opt for previous years' question papers.
Step-VII Get registered by entering details like name, email id and mobile number. Upload scanned copies of signature, photograph and other documents in the prescribed specification. The size and format of pic is given below.
